I do have a question. In they story the world explodes into data, Does that mean everyone was sucked into the game itself or did the game come out and rewrite the genetic code to the game itself?

Good question....the data came out when the virus was injected and rewrote the world, and everything on it, and possibly the universe to the game itself. So everyone's DNA was changed ETC. But they don't remember anything from their past life either. So, the universe was turned into the game.

In a way, it's as if it rewrote the existence of the universe, changing it into what it would already look like if the universe was born more..game like, rather then regular humans. Just a premature stage right now.
