Gage sat in the middle of the plains his bow strung as he looked out over the land his sharp elven eyes searching for a target. He called this a Rangers Game To hunt down the strongest and most wild monster out there with taking the least damage. Gage moved quickly running across the plains his feet making no sound as they hit the ground and rose up again. He slid to a stop looking out over some tall grass. A Camp goblin stood with 3 slimes and a Spike turtle. The slimes would be easy kill and goblins were too stupid to be a actual challenge. However that spiked turtle would be harder it's shell gave it a strong defense and close range was his own weakness and that spiked turtles greatest strength.
Gage moved around the high grass a arrow slung and pulled it back taking aim down the shaft before firing. The arrow flew through the grass slamming into the Goblins left ventricle and digging deep into the muscle cutting off movement. Gage vanished back into the Tall grass as the slimes jumped up and down and the turtle slid into it's shell knowing it would be a target later on. The young elf stopped and fired 2 more shots catching the goblin in the back on the high right penetrating a lung before a third arrow caught it in the lower spine destroying the vertebrae. Finally the last arrow shout out catching the Goblin in the eye the sharp metal point digging deep through the skull and into the brain causing death in a instant.
Gage vanished moving like a wraith through the grass and fired the arrow flying through the grass catching a slime as it jumps right in the face stunning it. Two arrows followed catching the small target as the slime hit the ground it laid there hurt before a final arrow took it out. The other slime turned to flee only to get 2 arrows into it's back and 2 more a couple of seconds later slaying the slime. Now it was Gage and the turtle a good challenge to kill this one.
Gage slid until he was a good 20 feet away easy marks for any ranger who can fire a bow, His arrow slid back and found a weak point the hole where the head slid into gave a opening. With lightning speed 2 arrows flew into the hole catching the turtle in the head. The Spiked turtle slid it's head down and opened it's mouth as it tried to turn away from the archer who fired arrows. Gage fired again catching the Spiked turtle in the side of the head and another in the leg. The leg arrow slid down pinning the turtle to that spot, Gage walked out of the grass and up to the turtle and with a final shot slaying the turtle. Gage turned sliding his bow onto his shoulder and continued on a rangers game done.
